Significant Advances in the Development of the Social Compliance System to Prevent Child Labor

During a meeting of the management team for Youth Spots Centers and Child Care Centers, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security conducted a detailed analysis in Tucumán as part of the Good Harvest program (Programa Nacional Buena Cosecha), focused on the prevention and protection of childhood in rural areas.

In the meeting, a report prepared by the Non-Governmental Organization Desarrollo y Autogestión (DyA) was presented, highlighting the effectiveness of child labor prevention centers in Tucumán. Additionally, three new spaces in Rumi Punco, Teniente Berdina, and Estación Padilla were enthusiastically announced, consolidating ABC’s corporate commitment to integrating children and adolescents into educational and care environments.

These new centers, through the efforts of our sector, complement the existing network in León Rougés, Rumi Punco, Santa Lucía, Sargento Moya, and Teniente Berdina, demonstrating the positive impact of the Good Harvest program. Every day, over 300 teenage children and 150 children aged 0 to 4 benefit from these business initiatives designed to prevent child labor in the rural areas of Tucumán.

The Good Harvest program supports our social responsibility strategy within productive communities. By promoting the creation and strengthening of care and support spaces, it becomes a fundamental tool for companies committed to building an equitable and secure future for the new generations in the province of Tucumán. The meeting highlighted business progress and sustained commitment.
